We survived Thanksgiving. I cooked most of the spread and it was all very good. I did not take any photos though! We enjoyed leftovers and I made turkey soup to give our digestive system a break after eating so much.
December is now here and we have celebrated one birthday already. My dear daughter turned 7 on December 1st. I cannot believe how fast 7 years go by!! I made her a cake from scratch...her request. It was a little on the heavy side so it was not her favorite. It had more the consistency of a pound cake but was layered like a normal b-day cake. I will use a box mix for her next year!
